Arrived in Barcelona - What accommodations!

After traveling for a little more than twelve hours I finally reached the hotel around 9:00 this morning. I only slept for about 3 1/2 hours on the plane and so I was looking forward to a hot shower and a bit of a rest. Lucky for me the room was ready and Kelly had authorized me to check in. Yes!

Kelly is Margaret's sister and travels a lot for work and along the way has achieved Lifetime Premiere Platinum status with Marriott hotels. So she gets awesome room upgrades but I have to say this one is over the top gorgeous. Don't think we will see another one like this on this trip or for that matter, in my lifetime, unless of course I am traveling with Kelly.

We are on the 38th floor and have a three bedroom 3 1/2 bath penthouse suite with a kitchen, a full living room and dining room AND incredible views. The three full bathrooms all have soaker jetted tubs. I am including some photos - unbelievable! What a way to start our vacation!

We are going to start touring tomorrow with our first stop at the Picasso museum.
