I was having problems with posting blog photos but now I think I have that resolved. It was taking way too long to import photos and write the blog each day, but I think I found an APP to make it easier. So here is today's post on yet another wonderful adventure in Barcelona.
The past two days have been filled with touring and seeing as much of Barcelona as we possibly can. We feel as if we have only scratched the surface of this city. It is very cosmopolitan and everything moves very fast. Everywhere we go it is crowded with people many of whom seem to think that it is necessary to continually take "selfies". And watching them pose is actually quite humorous, they are very dramatic and trying to appear glamorous. Is everyone REALLY a movie or rock star?
In spite of all of the "celebrities" and their selfie sticks we managed to see ALL thing Gaudi today. We made good use of the hop-on-hop off bus and went to Sagrada Familia. What an impressive structure and it has been under construction since 1882 and Gaudi took over the project in 1883 but died in 1926 leaving plans behind. It is still not complete and probably won't be during our lifetime.
We then went to Park Guell. Gaudà conceived this park, situated within a natural park. He imagined an organized grouping of high-quality homes, decked out with all the latest technological advancements to ensure maximum comfort, finished off with an artistic touch. It was opened as a park in 1926.

Tomorrow we are up early to take the train to Montserrat - looking forward to another day of adventure and yet another beautiful sunrise. Got our map and the plans are in order!
